TECH CLUB JANUARY MEETING
The first general meeting of the Tech Club in 2026 was Monday, January 12th at the CATC (Creative Arts and Technology Center) starting at 7pm in Room 104 (Bluebonnet).
This Meeting was Open to any Robson Resident.
We were honored to have Stephen Pinn (Robson Resident and Tech Club Member) as our Guest Speaker.
Mr. Pinn presented on "UPGRADING YOUR WIFI".
Agenda Topics included "Words Mean Something"..."Routers-What Are They"..."Pros and Cons of Astound vs. Own Your Own"..."Types of Distributed Networks (Wi-Fi Really)..."Examples of Router Configurations".
We had much lively discussions about Astound Data Services and Modem Router Options as well as using a Carrier “Hot Spot” or StarLink Satellite Services.
