May 2025 Drone Club Meeting
The May General Meeting of the Drone Club was held on Monday | May 26th | Creative Arts and Technology Center (CATC) | Room 104 | 7pm.
This meeting was open to any Robson Resident.
Steve Simpson (Club President) and Dennis Brooks (Club VP) presented the following agenda...”Preflight with Dennis" / “Flying with Dennis” / “Flying with Steve” & “Dennis is a Brave Lad”.
This was our first “Mentoring” Series which was designed to visually show the various aspects of what is involved in a Flying a Drone in the Robson Community.
What is Needed to Fly a Drone at Robson Ranch
There was much attendee interaction with questions regarding how to fly in a controlled FAA airspace… what strobes are needed for attaching to a drone for flying & when is a LAANC required by the FAA.
